EXTERIOR

The Porsche 718 exteriors have Bi-Xenon headlights with integrated daytime running lights, and the three-dimensional design on taillights with four-spot brake lights that leave lasting impression. The aerodynamic design with the mid-engine layout is provided with the contouring on the doors that directs the wind into the large air intake manifold.

The Porsche 718 features new exterior mirrors with V-shaped base, integrated sidelights, power adjust and fold, the large wheel arches and the options of sports alloy wheels in 19” and 20” wheel sizes. The Porsche 718 specifications are available in two engine options. The 1988 cc turbocharged boxer engine produces 300 PS power at 6500 rpm and 380 Nm torque of 1950-4500 rpm. The 2497 cc turbocharged boxer engine produces a power of 350 PS at 6500 rpm and 420 Nm torque at 1900-4500 rpm. The transmission system features 6-speed manual and 7-speed PDK automatic transmission versions, and the drive is connected to the rear wheels.

The Porsche 718 mileage ranges at around 6 kmpl in city driving conditions and up to 10 kmpl on highway driving. The combined average fuel economy of 8 kmpl can be expected from the manual transmission version. The Porsche 718 mileage for the PDK transmission version can range at 7 kmpl on an average.

The Porsche 718 specifications have a 4-piston aluminum monobloc fixed caliper at the front and rear. The Posrche Stability Management System assists in having high stability and racing performance on all surfaces. The safety features on offer include two full size airbags at the front with opening in dual stages, depending upon the impact of frontal collisions.

The Porsche side impact protection system comprising of two airbags on each side, integral thorax airbag located in each side bolster and the door panels containing upwards inflating head airbags.
