EXTERIOR

Talking of the exteriors, the front fascia of the 2019 MINI John Cooper Works hosts a hexagonal grille whereas the JCW bonnet stripes emphasize the racing-DNA look. The standard LED headlights comes parallel with the LED DRL’s. Moreover, the contrasting roof and mirror caps are present in white, black or exclusive Chilli Red which accentuates its sporty look.

Talking of the side stance, it comes with 17-inches JCW Track Spoke Alloy wheels as standard which are black finished. Talking of the rear, it hosts double exhaust tailpipes at the rear which are chrome plated. It will be an easy task to find the John Cooper Works logo positioned in places like the glamorous door sill finishers and side scuttles.

INTERIOR

Mentioning of the interiors, we will begin with leather steering wheel and sport bucket seats having John Cooper Works logo embedded below the headrest. The Head-Up Display which comes as optional projects the relevant driving data into the driver’s field of vision. Things become to feel racy on the inside with the abundance of piano black inserts on the dashboard.

The list of features is highlighted by an optional 8.8-inch central touchscreen infotainment system integrated with Apple CarPlay technology. The hatchback also receives a Harman Kardon music surround system for an awesome entertainment experience.

ENGINE & PERFORMANCE

Coming to the engine highlights, the hatchback’s 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder TwinPower engine is the core of the MINI John Cooper Works 3-Door. The engine produces an enormous power of 231PS @ 4700-6000pm and a peak torque of 320Nm @1250rpm for robust acceleration. The engine comes mated with the 8-speed AMT integrated with paddle shifters.

The mileage of the 2019 Mini JCW comes somewhere around 16.5 Kmpl as per ARAI.

For handling duties, the Mini JCW 2019 is offered with standard sports suspension for optimal grip on the road. BRAKING AND SAFETY

Talking of the braking system of the Mini JCW, it features Brembo brakes with red callipers which come as standard. Talking of the safety features, there are 2 airbags (driver and co-driver), ABS with EBD, Brake assist, traction control system, electronic stability program and immobilizer.
