Exterior, Style, and Look

Things like is a matter of personal choice. On top of it both the models has something unique to offer. But coming to side view, BMW 3 series has an edge over C Class Benz. This is perhaps Benz falls too steep down in the with the view. It has got literally nothing to offer. Whereas the 3 series has got even sportier and race-ready sedan look. Another thing is the new BMW 320d has got upgraded Cluster Architecture. By this we mean, it has got lighter to 1450 kg. But the C Class is has not got a major upgraded in terms of material and hence remains chunky with 1750 Kg. Not to mention this shall give an edge in terms of driving dynamics too.

Interiors

When it comes to interiors yes, BMW 3 Series yes it is comfortable, very comfortable in fact and you would really fall in love with it. Perhaps, you have see C Class once to change your mind. Compared to C Class, 3 series’ interior looks basic. Even though BMW 3 series offer a 10 speaker sound system which give better clarity, has spacious cabin and rear, 8 lighting buttons, C Class coaxes you with experience it gives. The dashboard looks loaded with parts of luxury. And with slitted panromic sunroof, its a ecstasy kind of feeling. Further, you have so many options in terms of upholstery too. In terms of trims it has got options like natural grain wood walnut, grey oak. BMW offers 10.2” infotainment whereas bench offers it as an optional choice with original being 7” .

Engine and Performance

Both have 2.0 l engine3 series isn’t BSVI compliant yet. But is loaded with twin turbo unit for efficiency, and produces 190PS and 400Nm torque, whereas the C Class variant produces 45PS and 500Nm torque.

The C200d is quicker than BMW 320d by bare margins. Accelerations were very close too but 320d has an advantage of lightweight. Mercedes C Class has 9-speed shift unlike 320d which has only 8. However, BMW was quiet and pleasant ride. The thing Mercedes is that it loves to keep it self in the mid-range. Stuck at the traffic jam but that guy would still want to plunge at 2000 rpm. So, you feel little noisy. Let’s also mention that this BMW’s warning system noise after 120 km/h is loud and neer-tiring, it becomes shabby at times.
